Roof Maintenance
High Pressure Washing
We clean terracotta, concrete or metal roofs with a high pressure water pump, which remove any moss or dirt and your roof will look brand new. This evaluation process also helps to flush away any debris from your roof guttering, patios, fascia and surrounding areas--driveway, footpath.
Re-pointing
Using a pointing trowel, apply the pointing to the
bedded top ridge cap tiles, hip cap tiles, ridge cap
collars and gable ends.
Re-bedding
We can help if ridge capping on the roof has been
cracked or fallen out. The process of replacing this
mortar is called re-bedding. (Removing the old mortar and re-bedding the tiles onto new cement)
Bedding cement should be fully trowelled, finished
plumb and free of large holes & voids, ensuring no bedding cement residue is left on the edge of the ridge cap interface.
Roof Painting
Painting your roof is not just an aesthetic job; it is one of the basic aspects of maintenance and restoration. We use one coat of primer, two coats of roof paint to help avoid breakages.
